UNDERSTANDING NEURODIVERSITY
Every Brain Is Unique
ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and other neurodivergent profiles represent different ways of thinking and learning—not simply deficits. Our evaluations serve two essential purposes: understanding your—or your child's—unique cognitive strengths and learning style, while providing formal diagnosis and documentation that opens doors to accommodations, services, and the support you deserve.
Comprehensive Neuropsychological Testing Across the Lifespan
We provide expert evaluations for individuals of all ages—from toddlers to adults—helping families understand cognitive profiles, learning differences, and developmental strengths while documenting needs for appropriate support.
CHILD & ADOLESCENT EVALUATIONS
Comprehensive Testing for Children & Adolescents
Does your child learn differently or approach the world in their own way? Many neurodivergent children are bright and capable—but traditional school settings don't always match their learning style. With over 20 years of experience evaluating children and teens, we provide thorough assessments that identify your child's cognitive strengths and learning profile while documenting needs for school accommodations and support.\
We specialize in evaluations for:
ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder)
Comprehensive testing to determine if ADHD is present and what accommodations and supports would be most beneficial for your child's success.
Common Experiences:
Difficulty focusing on less-preferred tasks, hyperfocus on interests
Easily distracted, frequently loses items
Fidgeting, difficulty sitting still
Impulsive behavior, interrupting others
Academic performance below potential
Our Evaluation Includes:
Classroom observations
Attention and concentration testing
Executive functioning assessment
Rating scales from parents and teachers
Social-emotional functioning assessment
Cognitive and academic testing
Documentation Provides Access To:
IEP eligibility, 504 plans, extended time, reduced homework, movement breaks, medication decisions, behavioral strategies

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Expert autism evaluations using gold-standard diagnostic tools for children as young as 2 years through adults.
Common Experiences:
Different language development patterns
Unique approaches to social interaction
Deep, focused interests and expertise
Preference for routines and predictability
Sensory sensitivities (sounds, textures, lights)
Our Evaluation Includes:
ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule) - gold-standard assessment
ADI-R (Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised)
Comprehensive cognitive and language testing
Adaptive functioning assessment
Developmental and family history
Documentation Provides Access To:
Early Intervention services, IEP eligibility, ABA therapy, speech/language and occupational therapy, specialized school programming

Learning Differences (Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia)
Thorough testing for specific learning differences affecting reading, math, writing, or other academic skills. Learning differences don't reflect intelligence—many individuals with dyslexia or dyscalculia are highly intelligent and benefit from instruction that matches their learning style.
Common Experiences:
Difficulty learning to read or slow reading pace (dyslexia)
Trouble with math concepts or calculations (dyscalculia)
Poor handwriting or difficulty with written expression (dysgraphia)
Significant gap between verbal abilities and written work
Our Evaluation Includes:
Full cognitive/IQ assessment
Academic achievement testing (reading, math, writing)
Processing speed, working memory, and executive functioning measures
Phonological processing (for reading difficulties)
Analysis of learning strengths and weaknesses
Documentation Provides Access To:
IEP eligibility, specialized instruction (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson Reading), extended time, assistive technology, 504 accommodations

Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs)
When you disagree with your child's school evaluation, you have the legal right to request an Independent Educational Evaluation at the NYC Department of Education's expense. We are an approved IEE provider and accept DOE payment directly.
When to request an IEE:
You disagree with the school's evaluation results
The school's evaluation seems incomplete
You're preparing for an IEP meeting or due process hearing
You want an objective, independent assessment
Why choose us for your IEE:
✓ NYC DOE approved provider
✓ Over 20 years of IEE experience
✓ Thorough, objective evaluations
✓ Reports that hold up in IEP meetings and hearings

Professional Exam Accommodations for Graduate & Licensing Exams
Preparing for the LSAT, Bar Exam, MCAT, or other professional examination? Our comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations provide the documentation required to request testing accommodations such as extended time, separate testing rooms, and other supports that level the playing field.
We also provide evaluations for:
GRE, GMAT, CPA Exam, USMLE, and other professional licensing exams.
Our evaluations:
✓ Meet testing organization requirements (LSAC, bar examiners, AAMC)
✓ Comprehensive testing (not brief screeners)
✓ Over 20 years of accommodation evaluation experience
✓ Clear documentation supporting your accommodation request
Adult ADHD & Neuropsychological Testing
Many adults discover in their 20s, 30s, or beyond that they're neurodivergent—ADHD, autistic, or have learning differences that explain lifelong experiences of thinking and processing differently. Our evaluations provide diagnostic clarity and access to accommodations that honor how your brain works.
We offer two types of adult ADHD evaluations:
Comprehensive Neuropsychological Evaluation (8 hours)
Full assessment for workplace accommodations, professional exam documentation, or comprehensive diagnostic clarity. Includes complete cognitive and achievement testing, attention and executive function measures, and detailed written report.
Abbreviated ADHD Testing (2 hours)
Focused evaluation for treatment planning and medication management. Includes clinical interview, ADHD rating scales, and diagnostic report with treatment recommendations. Not appropriate for accommodation requests.
Which evaluation is right for you?
We'll help you determine this during your free consultation.
We also evaluate adults for:
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis
Workplace accommodations (ADA)
Executive functioning differences
Learning differences affecting work or graduate school
Memory and cognitive concerns
Diagnostic clarity for treatment planning
Common reasons adults seek evaluation:
💭 "I've always struggled with organization and focus, but thought everyone did."
💭 "I'm successful, but everything takes me twice as long as it should."
💭 "My child was just diagnosed with ADHD, and I see myself in the symptoms."
💭 "I've always felt different socially, and recently learned about autism in adults."
