Evaluation fees vary based on the type and complexity of testing needed. We provide clear fee estimates during your initial consultation. We accept payment from NYC DOE for Independent Educational Evaluations. For other evaluations, we can provide documentation for potential out-of-network insurance reimbursement.

Do you accept insurance?

We do not participate directly with insurance panels, but we can provide detailed documentation (superbills) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many clients receive partial reimbursement.

How quickly can I get an appointment?

Wait times vary depending on the time of year. Contact us to discuss current availability. We typically do not have a waitlist. For urgent situations (upcoming bar exam or LSAT deadlines, IEP meetings), we make every effort to accommodate tight timelines.

How long does testing take, and what's the timeline for the complete process?

Most comprehensive evaluations involve approximately 8 hours of direct testing, which can be completed in one full day or split across two sessions depending on age and individual needs. For urgent situations (such as upcoming exam deadlines or IEP meetings), expedited timelines are available for an additional fee.

For those needing documentation for workplace accommodations or professional exams, we recommend our comprehensive 8-hour neuropsychological evaluation which includes full cognitive testing and detailed accommodation recommendations.

Will my child be comfortable during testing?

Our clinicians are experienced in making children feel at ease. Testing includes breaks, and we use age-appropriate materials. Most children find the one-on-one attention engaging and enjoy the variety of activities.

Do you offer telehealth evaluations?

We offer telehealth for certain evaluations and follow-up consultations for New York State residents. However, particular comprehensive neuropsychological testing requires in-person assessment. Our Manhattan (Flatiron District) and Queens (Astoria) offices are conveniently located to serve families and professionals throughout the NYC metro area, including Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island, Westchester County, Nassau County, Long Island, and Northern New Jersey.

STEP 2: Comprehensive Testing

Duration: Typically 8 hours

One-on-one evaluation including cognitive testing, academic achievement measures (when relevant), attention and executive function assessment, and other testing tailored to your specific concerns. Can be completed in one day or split across two sessions.

Timeline: 3 weeks after testing is completed
